*Deary Me Records Cincinnati Scene IV Compilation CD-Kid Valance & Mongrel Soup appear on track 8 with 'Lifting Lines' on this compilation CD that also featuresThroneberry, The Ass Ponys, Roundhead, Rip Rock & Raunch and more.

*Localmusik.com Presents Cinti. 1998 Compilation CD-Kid Valance & Mongrel Soup appear on track 6 with 'One Eyed Jacks'. 15 total bands in all, including Cirus of the Sun, Nitty Irving's Curb Rythem Band, Stain, and Thistle.

*14-song debut CD, "Her Perfect Soul", on CattleProd Recordings, released in December, 1998. Recorded at Backstage Studios and engineered by Doug Krebs.

*3-Song Demo Tape-Contains 'Hope My Love', 'Tiger Skies', and 'One Eyed Jacks' was recorded in March, 1996 at Backstage Studios in Covington, KY. Todd Drake on drums, Mike Hancock on lead guitar, and Chris Lee on bass guitar.  'One Eyed Jacks' contains Kid Valance's only recorded guitar solo. Jim Turner provides the trumpet on 'Tiger Skies'.

*Deary Me Records Cincinnati Scene II Compilation CD-Kid Valance & Mongrel Soup appear on track 11 with 'Tiger Skies' on this compilation CD that also features BuBu Klan, The Tigerlilies and more.

*3-Song Promo Tape-Contains 'Move Down the Line', 'Two Horses(All Nations as One)', and 'Hope My Love'.  Recorded in late 1997 at Vision Studios in Cincinnati, OH. Adrian Cabrera on drums, Sean Saatkamp on lead guitar, and Chris Lee on bass. Al Early sings backup on 'Move Down the Line' and the background choir on 'Two Horses' consists of Al Early, Amy McDonald, Bridgette Otto, and Cindy Smith.

*Kid Valance-"Acoustic"-Seven-song tape of Kid solo acoustic.  Recorded August 9, 1997 on Chris Lee's Fostex 280 4-track.  Contains 'Another Place', 'Magdalena', 'Won't You See', 'Cowboy Gasoline', 'The Hour Has Passed', 'Thinkful Wishing' and 'Except for the Ones that are True'.

*Kid Valance & Mongrel Soup performed at the 1998 New Orleans Cutting Edge Music Conference on September 19 @ Jimmy's.

*The band's debut CD, entitled "Her Perfect Soul", released on CattleProd Recordings, is in stores by now!

*Kid Valance kicking off the new year/Decade/Century by hitting the road solo from the beginning of February through the middle of March heading to the West Coast and back.
